Here is my response back from Zannoti's They sent me a new set of directions with the updated part numbers but no chrome ones. The file was to large for me to attach it or I would have.

I didn't see a chrome one for it, Harley has updated picture, they say 29009-08 is black wrinkle.

I like the idea of matching the engine paint, since chrome is out. Frankly wouldn't have thought of it if not for you guys. Did you leave the finish wrinkle when you painted it? Any picts?
Thanks

No problem. If anyone wants the new updated directions for the breather that Zanotti's sent to me send me a PM with your email and I will send them to you. I didnt look like a whole lot changed other then throttle body cover part numbers. I just may go with the Granite paint as well.

I used the paint on my starter and the spark plug finned bridge and the throttle body support bracket to act as the spacer for my AN Big Sucker. My wife stopped my when I walked in the back door shaking the can, :drink:

Hmmm, wonder what it would cost to chrome it? or I could cover it with snake skin,  :2vrolijk_21:

A different design with a cleaner look and chrome would be nice.

I originally got quotes from 45 - 60 dollars to get it chrome plated. I dont know for sure what I am going to do now. The black one is on there for now but I would have rather had chrome.

Where did the estimate come from? As soon as my extra one arrives, it's going straight to the chrome shop!

I started a thread on it a while back.

I contacted the two companies listed in there. You may also want to look around locally in your yellow pages because all the shipping and handling charges add up quickly.

I too am looking to install the SE heavy breather on my SERK there are a couple of things holding me back, one was the black backing plate and the other is the exposed EFI manifold.

I know that there is a chome EFI Manifold cover that is available but the part description specifies that it only fits 02-07 touring. Has anyone tried to put this on any '08 later touring?

Also, wondering whether anyone else tried using chome paint on the backing plate instead of the charcoal, I'm thinking that this should work as well - may not be an exact match as chrome plating but would be cheaper.

The throttle body plate most like wouldn't fit on 08s and newer as the throttle body is larger on these bikes.  (They switched to 50mm in 08).  Looking at the parts list, the throttle body cover fits around the intake like a gasket, so it would be too small for the newer throttle bodies.
