While I miss seeing it am glad they got away from the Eagle graphic in the fairing. The 00-01 bird was so good and their homage to it last time was so bad am pleased they just left it alone this time. More standard CVO-ish styling lines here work well on this big bike.

I guess the red is nice, but that brown thing... OMG that is ugly... will be able to pick them up cheap and repaint it Orange and black... and put an eagle back on it LOL

There was a cream and tan Road Glide (might have even been a Tour Glide) paint scheme several years ago. Remembering it being called "The Turd" then. Unless this one looks a lot better in person than the pics suggest it may be the first 2011 to already have its nickname.

As with all things bike Uncle Mike that the rider likes it really the only thing that matters. There's a special benefit to whomever gets one first though. That rider will from then after be known here as His Turdness :znotworthy: .

I like it :2vrolijk_21: I think the color combo has a "Nostalgic Appeal", not to mention it sure would hide road grime!
Having said that.... I have my name on the first "Green Monster" FLHXSE2 at my dealer :cucumber:

I am going to save my dislike comments for the turd until I can see one in person :nixweiss: I didn't like the pix of the Captn Morgan last year either but it is my favorite color from the 2010 line now that I have seen it :nixweiss:

Personally I think that the Eagle is missing. I agree with Don that the 09 was not as nice as the 00 and 01 eagles and it would have been nice to see that detail back again, but no Eagle at all makes this look like just one of the other 2011 RG's just in a different color :nixweiss: in fact the only thing that shows it is a Screamin Eagle is on the breather :nixweiss: I think they should have used the emblem from the SESG tank on all the SE models :2vrolijk_21:

It looks like the exhaust is key to the design with the lines at the tail. (Fullsac baffles will be in demand to deepen the sound while keeping the exhaust's look).
At least nobody insulted the Yellow Pearl/Slate Gray 09 SERG when it came out. Nobody with good taste and a sense of style anyway!

I saw that one yesterday. Not in the light though but wasn't impressed. Can you believe the dealer I went to to see the CVO Slate still had it in the crate, shoved under a shelf where he couldn't even take the lid off to show me?? He said he's only had it since Thursday... :nixweiss:
I tried to press him but to no avail. I told him I called Friday and the guy I spoke with said it would be on the floor Saturday. I Just rode 60 miles in 105* heat to see this thing. He wanted to know who told me that as he was the GENERAL MANAGER and would like to deal with that. I said "your the GM huh?". "Yes I am" he puffed out his chest a little..... He then said I can have someone call you when it's ready. I said, "don't bother.".

I was hoping to see one of these today to no avail. I did see the 103 but was not impressed save the $13000 dollar difference. The color scheme is very similar to the CVO sans one pinstripe. As Miker says: "the birds the word". Can't believe they left that off this year. I'm still waiting to see that cream puff in person.

THEY spread gossip.
How can I become a "THEY" because it sounds more powerful and secure than being an "I"?
I want to change my handle from D31960 to THEY. :coolblue:

I'd be careful with that one. Cream Cycle will get shortened to Creamy or Creamer or something like that. That'll become cum bucket and sooner or later the bike's nickname will have evolved to "The Wad." That's worse than The Turd. You know it's bad when your bike is so ugly that The Turd is the better of its nickname options :huepfenlol2: .
