RG SE 2011 seat
« on: January 14, 2011, 10:38:23 PM »

What do you think about your new RG or EG seat 2011 SE? Comfortable? I am wondering what is your opinion of the new suspended design with the back support. Looks real nice but after few miles do you wish you had another? Mine still in storage and wondering about it after reading some posts on this site :-\ I know that original seats suck but this one looks different, with more thought on design.

Personally, I like it.  But more importantly, the BSR likes it.  Very comfortable, one of the most comfortable seats I think the MoCo has made.

I really like it. Very comfortable. Better than the HD sundowner or the Corbin, my opinion.

This is the first seat that I do not suffer butt burn.  Did a 170 mile one way trip and back with no problems.

I like it.  :2vrolijk_21:  I am one of the fortunate few I guess in that I have no problems with any of the stock seats on my '06 cuse, my '07 cuse2 or my new ruse.  Only my '99 ultra required a new saddle.

I am so glad to hear good feedback and responds  ;D I was a little worried  :'( but can't make everyone happy. Monkey butt is a big subject when talking about seats.

So I love this seat. I put in some long days in the saddle, typically 400-575miles/day. There are some cases when nothing helps. On my last big tour, I did 750 miles from Topeka, KS to ABQ, NM in a day. My rear got hot and the last 100 miles was bearable but not spectacular. That was an exceptionally long day though.
