Beautiful bike TC.  Far and away my favorite of the new crop.  Had you been on a Road Glide before and are you going to have to get a shorter wind screen?

Damn that's pretty.

Congratulations Terry.  You desrerve it.....I'm really happy for you.

Sure hope that you and Judi are able to make it out here in June, for the GTG....  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=52512.0

If there's anything I can do to help make that happen please let me know.  I haven't forgot the hospitality that you extended to Andy, Jon and I when we arrived in Atlanta. And thanks again.  Glad to see you back on the bike you really want to be on:2vrolijk_21:

Thanks, Don...I had test driven a new "regular" RG Ultra with the 103" motor before.  Vast differences between it and the UC, and I really like it more.  I've always liked the look of a RG, though it goes against the grain a bit.  When I saw this one, it was love at first sight.  I can just see over the windshield when sitting straight in the saddle, so we'll have to see how it feels when "slouched" a bit during longer bits with the cruise control on.  Perhaps just a tad shorter with a recurve?  Won't know that for a while though.  The bars seem to be in a good place for me, and the new type of seat seems to fit my butt well.  The bike is a little tall for me though, so we'll see about that later on.  I only rode about 40 miles today trying to seat the rings.  Adjusted the floorboards for Judi when I got home, tried the Ipod, etc.  Had to move the backrest pad to it's most forward position, but that works well too, it seems.

Thanks, JC...probably not this year, but West is definitely on my bucket list, so we will see you at some point in the not too distant future.

Great to read you found a model and a look that really reached out and grabbed you.  If I didn't like my old one so much this model would be a real temptation.  Also great to read it comes that close to fitting you right out of the box.  Sounds like just a few small tweaks are all it will take to really dial it in to you.
