Well I made the deal last Thursday, Picked her up Monday.  I know have 789 miles on her.  I put the fulllsac DX Head pipe, 2.25 cores and the screens on her along with the TTS tuner and map on Monday night with 111 miles on her.  Really enjoying it so far.

The mods have already begun.  Added the TTS Tuner, Fullsac Map along with the DX pipe, and 2.25 cores.  During Biketoberfest have an appointment for Doc to work his tuning magic on it.

So far swapped sides on footboards for more leg room.

Chip I am really thinking hard about it.  Joe and I are planning to ride over Wednesday and spend Wednesday and Thursday Night.  I have to be home by 4 on Friday as Its my wife's birthday and a good friend of hers so we have dinner reservations.

I have never been able to make it, so I would like to.

How close is the Comfort Inn?  It looks like a block or less, is that correct?  I ask as Choice hotels is the chain I use when I travel usually end up with several free nights a year.

Still working on the Dock.  The gables are going to be log sided to match the house, the one side to land will have the whole wall log sided.  Then the ceiling has to go in with some fans, and I have to build the Bar yet.

Congrats Dave, that is one f'n sweet bike ... BEAUTIFUL and my favorite color too. I must say I wasn't too crazy about the new sharks at first, but they are starting to grow on me now ... especially after seeing your's. You definitely picked THE color to have!

I did a couple more little things to the bike yesterday.

First had to change my Primary cover.  I always like a Navy Theme one there.





Next, the Chrome Trim for the Tour pack Light.  I feel is should have come painted to match the bike.  It did not so this Chrome is the next best.  Sure better than that flat black.

Oh Dave I think we are all doing our part these days. Unfortunately! Can't remember the last time my raise wasn't washed out by inflation and an increase on my insurance premiums!

Whats a raise?  June 2011 the company I work for was bought out.  January 2011 was the last pay raise I have had.  When bought out, the were originally going to cut our wages to match their pay scale, but quickly realized that most of us electronics techs were going to quit over that.  So we do not get a raise until their scale catches us, which is still about 3 dollars and hour lower now, it was 11 at the take over.

That said, I got a promoting last Nov to Chief Electronics tech.  I actually ended up with a pay cut.  No longer get OT for the four hours of safety meetings a week.
