I really liked the bags on the 2010. if they could have come up with a good way to lock them, and make them just a bit larger......and what is with the left bag being about 2/3 the capacity of the one on the right???  what is up with that???  like I said before, that set of bags wasn't initially designed for the convertible.....nothing behind the bag to take up all that room that was carved out.  Just saying..................  Pork.

The brackets are after market, got them online somewhere. I agree with you, the bags that come with the bike make it look cheap. These are the standard bags from Harley so their the same ones that go a Street Glide or Ultra. I can fill both sides with equal amount. I don't know you're talking about Pork.

Thanks

I have V&H Big Radius on my 2012. I am thinking they may not look too bad with the hard bags and a matching paint scheme.

I really like the V&H big radius , but it`s my wife`s 2012 Conv. and she wants to go with pipes on each side .
She wants me to install the springer bags with fringes .I´ll post some pics as soon as i´m done .
thanks
John

Expensive to paint since Harley won't release paint codes for CVO's. Bags and paint around 4 grand but worth it after hearing all the problems people are having with their soft bags falling off. The pipes are V & H True Duels. I also have a detachable chopped tour pak to match. I posted pics on the site somewhere?

Don't buy bags stretched, the bike sits too low for them. I scrape my floor boards all the time. Imagine what the bags would look like, and those metal end pieces won't stop your bags from getting scratched.

Yeah Pacnoco1992,
Hard bags do look really good. I assume they are detachable also. I hope so cause the only time I have my bags on is when I am traveling. I love the look without them and without the passenger seat a lot for around town.

bags are detachable just like the regular ones but the brackets aren't.

The hard bags look great on the bike. How hard was it to match the paint? Wouldnt mind putting SG bags on mine, but I dont think a local paint shop could match the paint scheme. I recently bought a used '12 in Abyss Blue with the catacomb graphics. Im assuming the Abyss Blue is the darker color and have no idea what the lighter blue is called.
