I'm not doing this to save money..Probaly save 1 tire a year, no big deal. I want to do it because I've heard they are smoother with more tire on the road for all the flat riding I have in the midwest. A car tire also has more of a load rating and loaded with down with the wife and a trailer I am over the weight for a motorcycle tire techncially. If I want any curves it is a 400 mile ride! I've heard they also handle better in rain but all this is from Goldwing riders and I'm looking for input from a CVO owner.
