Road King Tour Pack
« on: September 03, 2014, 08:49:16 PM »

Forgive me as I have done a search, and came up empty. Does anyone have any information regarding mounting a detachable tour pack to a 2014 Road King?

the same as you would mount a detachable tourpak to any 2014 touring that didn't have one.  use the 4 point docking kit, buy the appropriate rack (solo or 2 up) and the tourpak of choice (chopped or king).  screw it all together and voila, tourpak.

Ohhh... I misread his post...  :(  my apologies...

Need the following:

4-Point Docking HW Kit (I went with the Black kit - 523000354 or chrome is 52300353 )
Detachable Two-Up mounting rack - Black 53000459 / Chrome 53000221
The actual tour*pak number will depend on style (razor, chopped, king) and the color of your bike...

It comes with a template to drill the holes on the tour*pak... you drill those, mount to the rack with supplied hardware.
Install of the 4-point is easy.  Remove the bags, four bolts holding the trim... insert dock, bolts.... done...
