Well Ladies and Gentlemen, the CVO Heated Seat issue has been fixed. Finally got a chance to go by the dealer to have them check out the problem. They took the seat off and behold they had not plugged in the seat connection to the point it snapped into place. They had put some lights on my saddle bags about a month and half ago. When they put the seat back on the Tech did not plug the seat in correctly so I was getting a partial connection only. Road to work this AM, 40 degrees, turned the seat on and it set my ass on fire. Had to turn it down on low. So what does that tell you. Tells me quality control at this dealership is lacking. Sad that you spend 40 K on a bike and then another 300.00 to have lights put on the stuff is not done correctly. I had Stage one put on the bike back when I first got it and bolts on the pipes were left not tightened. This kind of stuff could get you killed if they forgot to do something that was critical. Now, I wonder if I should tell management about it. They are good folks, but they sell so many bikes (80 to 90 a month or more) that there quality control is lacking I thank.
To the guy who said his grips are not getting hot. Take the bike back. My grips get so hot on setting 3 that I have to put them on 1 1/2 and that's still pretty hot.
Have a great day my friends, ride safe.
