Roadking Fairing
« on: November 24, 2008, 02:04:23 PM »

I am looking into adding a radio fairing to my '07 SE Roadking. I have looked into the dragonfly cycle concepts, but they seem a little overpriced for what you get. Any Ideas?

Thanks

Been long enough ago I've forgotten now.  Which fairing option did you put on the purple bike Neal?

I went with DeadCenter and like it alot, but I like the looks of the Dragonfly. I added the Pioneer am/fm/cd with XM satellite, 12 volt plug. About $1,800 plus another $500 for Gene to paint.

He's in WA state. A great painter that can duplicate any CVO paint job, w/o using CVO paint. Reasonable too. ;)

I have the Hoppe Quadzilla on my 03 SERK. I posted a few picture of it somewhere on this site.

Kuryakyn is supposed to come out with one soon, saw the prototype at a few rallies, it looks pretty cool. It has a glove compartment, and will use Hogtunes speakers according to the write-up on it.

Dead Center makes a nice one. Gene does all of Dead Centers work for custom paint. Just order and tell them what you want and it goes right to Gene.

Does anyone know who makes a faring without the cut outs for radio or speakers, What would be ideal is where the radio goes use that for storage, like a glove box

Deadcenter makes one with the back blankplane, I had a standard RK windshield bag above the stereo deck.

Rooster452, do you have a center stand? Kind of looks like it in the picture. If so, I'm wondering if it interferes with your jack. I have a stand, but have to use a 1X2 on the front jack arm to level the bike when raising.

I bought my Hoppe Quadzilla on ebay from a dealer, brand new at a very good price,  and am very happy with it.
