Looks like MoCo's website has changed to include a designation by year for motorcycles.

While out riding a bit yesterday afternoon, we happened by SMHD and Bootlegger HD.  I know the 2018 models are to be announced today but I'm not sure where the dealers are going to put them with all the remaining 2017's (and some 2016's) covering the showroom floor... :nixweiss:

Know what you're saying Howard, it's the same thing on this side of the pond. It seems HD is loosing it's appeal to the up coming generation.
Over here you don't see many younger guy or gals on Harley's just us older gits :P

I've been in a couple dealers this summer with brand new 15's still on the floor... A dealer somewhere uncrated a 15 CVO SG black/gold just a month ago, was on eBay for msrp.

MSRP for a three year old CVO with what is now the "out-dated" engine?  We can get a 2018 CVO for MSRP.  Some dealers are living in 1992.

Just got back from a trip out West and have been touring in midwest as part of the Passport Tour.   If you are lookin at CVO 's there is not much out there that is not high mileage or very questionable. ( like been in a wreck or something )..... just one of many examples is a 2011 street glide with a 2013 mag wheel and fork on the front. Go figure.  )  I do agree there are a lot of 2017's out there but not the CVO line especially in the upper Midwest

 Just saying !!!!!

In June we went to our local dealer and they had a brand new 2016 CVO Limited.  Wife hated the color, so we were ready to walk even though they were looking to make it go away.  Sales guy said hang on, we just got this 2017 CVO Limited in two days ago.  Wife loves the color, we make a sweet deal to trade the 2012 CVO Ultra and we ride home on the new bike.  The 2016 is still sitting there in the showroom today.

Every year is the same old news with totalmotorcycle.
