In all, Sturgis appeared to have low attendance this year.  While I do not know the numbers nor if I could believe them if I did, it just seemed that way.  Traffic was lite!  Crowds were low!  Vendors were leaving early.  You be the judge.  It was nice not having a large crowd to contend with for a change.

Several major accidents had the roads backed up for long periods of time but I managed to get some miles down the road.

Day 23 | Nashville, TN – Savannah, GA

My final day on the road would be uneventful with the exception of the normal Atlanta, GA traffic.  As I began my journey down the home stretch of I-16 I reflected upon the trip.  There was no doubt that my higher power was travelin’ with me each mile of the way.  What a wonderful experience, joy and comfort knowing this fact.

In addition I could not help but think of my “next times” and when that would be.  Soon?  Vancouver?  Alaska?  Northern Lights?  Where would it end?  To dream…

This voyage took me right at ~ 9,000 miles with each mile creating a memory.  What a wonderful place I live in!

This would be my final image of the journey.
