"Say it ain't so Joe, say it ain't so"!!!

Your money but since you are asking, don't do it...in my humble opinion, your maple paint is far superior to the anniversary colour and you gain nothing in the engine department for an extra $10,000.

You're asking,  soooo,  Maple Road Glide is Halle Berry, anniversary Road Glide is Kelly Ripa; pretty but no comparison, KEEP the 2012.

I gotta go with the group, stay with your 2012.  Even if by some strange twist the Anni models become some hot collectors item you will be hard pressed to ever get your 10k back! :2vrolijk_21:

Absoloutly NOT !! And tell the dealer your offended in his low ball offer of in my opinion the best color CVO ever made next to that Kryptonite Street Glide. They are still selling your Bike for 33K in FLorida at two dealers I have visited in the last month and sold within a couple days. One @35K and they only added the Day Makers.

I agree with Sea Biscuit. the maple is a better color than  any of the ann. colors. The candy cobolt is the best color that the moco ever came out with except the combo of electric cherry red with the vivid black on the 2005 FLSTFSE  .. But thats  my opinion and your choice,.. good luck with whatever you do .

You should've laughed in that salesman's face, although he's just trying to max his commission.  The used 2012 CVO RG's with 5,000-10,000 miles are going for $30,000 +/- here in Georgia and only sit a few days before they are gone.  Your paint IMHO looks a lot better than the 2013 colors.  Get some Daymaker headlights and some speakers in those bags and call it a 2013 if your one that HAS to have the NEW release.  I bought my 2012 Maple Dec 1, exactly 3 months ago.  Had 5000 miles on it.  Paid about $30k for it.  Their was a 2013 Custom Atomic Orange / Galaxy Grey and a 2013 Anniversary Edition Diamond Dust / Obsidian on the floor too. I could have rode off on any of the 3, but chose the 2012 Maple specifically because of the color.  Remember yours is the rarest of the 2012 colors.  To each his own.  Peace!

$5,000 Maybe, $10,000 No Way!  And I agree, your color is better.

I thought the candy cobolt blue was the most rare at total  production of 602 vs. maple at 799. I thought I saw that somewhere  in this forum.

found this site which gives all the harley sticker and invoice prices.looks like invoice on the 2012 anny is $27199,so there is a $6800 markup which is about 20%.they have alot to work with but they almost always get sticker.if they are only going to get 1 anny bike they will hold out and wait.that is business.you guys convinced me to keep woody.thanks.here is the sight.now you will know what the dealer pays for their bikes.they hide it really well.

Not close on the deal.  5K maybe 6K and yours for the Anniversary, other wise Keep the Maple!

First of all I don't think the Anniversary model comes close to the Maple CVO. They're making 14% more of the Anniversary models, he should give you $10,000 to take it. Just my 2 cents.

Not in a million years would I trade your beautiful Maple Metallic SERGC for a 2013 Anniv SERG - especially with a $10K differential!

I was looking for a bike like yours when I bought the Honey Badger in Aug 2011, but there were none available in GA yet. I have no regrets - but your bike is one of the most beautiful CVO colors ever IMHO.

Why is it the dealers feel 33% profit over invoice is a good idea? Making enemies of your hard fought customers by ripping them off is just bad business.

I have to agree with all of the above. Almost bought a 12 maple last year, bought a BMW K1600 instead. Sold that today and picked up my 13 Atomic Orange (love the color) SERG , lost 5K on the Bimmer. If I bought the 12 maple last year  I would have no regrets and would not be trading it. Maple unique color .

I agree with the group. Your money is better spent on your current ride if you feel you need to add the "extras" on the '13. Your current color is way nicer than the anniversary colors. Ride on with a big smile on your face!

Yeah I'm with everyone else.... Keep your Maple.  I ordered a Maple Metallic last February and when it came in there was a Candy Cobalt with it.  Rolled them both outside and I chose the blue, but I wanted them both (wife said NO!!).  As said get some daymakers and saddlebag speakers and roll with the Maple!!

X2...hope you didn't give in at the $10K difference....that was a crappy deal you were offered and the salesmen should be hung by his toes on that one.
