Well my local dealership and I came to an agreement today and my new SERG (Maple Metallic/Vivid Black) is on the way from New Hampshire. It's not the color I initially wanted but I don't think I could go wrong with any of the three choices, plus the Maple seems to be the hardest to find, so I jumped on it. ETA is March 8 which gives me time to strip the extras off my 09 FLTR for use on the 12, and also some time to do a little shopping.

I would like some help finding one particular item that I'm having a hard time locating.  The tourpack backrest pad that matches the stock seat. The 2012 catalog has nothing listed for anything other than the chopped tour pack, but I'm planning on sticking with King TP. If anyone has any insight please share with me.  Would also like matching highway pegs but didn't see those either, are these items CVO specific??

I cant help you on the King Tour pack backrest.

However the foot pegs, or highway pegs are CVO specific.  The dealer has a parts break down book for the CVO bikes.  The foot pegs are in there and he can order them for you.  That is how I had to do it for my 09 FLTRSE3, and the new 12 FLTRXSE uses the same pegs.

Check your parts book again. They have the matching back rests for both tour packs and the plain back rest. I know because I have all three (ordered by my dealer). The one on the king tour pack is unique, (as far as I can tell) in that it is 2 piece, unlike all that I used in the past!
