HID INSTALL ISSUES

Has anyone had any clearance issues installing HI/LO HID lights? Thinking of installing them again on the new bike but had them in my 07 RG and had clearance issues where the socket base was touching the fairing bracket. Im trying to find out if the newer fairing style has enough room for clearance. Not ready to spring for daymakers yet.
