Windshield for FXSTSSE
« on: May 03, 2008, 01:10:47 AM »

I am thinking about a windshield for my springer, small trying to stay with the lines. Any ideas?

Here is the Windvest tinted 10" on a blue springer...it has its own allen wrench and comes off in seconds.  I am not sure I really like it but it is not too obtrusive and it sure helps on the highway.

I went with the 14" clear windvest windshield on my 2008 CVO Springer.  Works like a champ.  I'm 6'.

"Must be nice" said the 5'7" pygmy to the 6' giant. "But I  have 3 legs all the same size" (at least before the alarm rings...that is) :nervous:

I've ordered the 10 inch windvest-tinted.  Haven't received it yet.  There weren't many choices.

even though i hate the look of a windshield, i went with a quick detatch from harley. i think it looks as good as it can and better than any after market one. And it requires no tools to take it off. The harley book says it won't fit but it does with no problems. But as with any harley product-expensive!
