Where should I sell my 09' Softail Springer CVO

Hello all,

      I hate to say it. But, I need to sell my 09' Softail Springer (black w/emerald ice flames) I bought it right before Christmas then had to make a job change shortly after and now just can't afford it with 3 kids it needs to go. My question to you CVO Guru's is should I post it here on cvoharley.com or should I post it on ebay, or is there another place you would recommend. The bike has less than 600 miles on it and I squeezed those in and then had the break-in service done on it. I have the seven year warranty and the next 2 service calls are paid for (not sure if the service calls are transfereable or only good at ABC Harley in Waterford, MI). You're advice would be greatly appreciated.

K Dog post it EVERYWHERE! The more places the better. A lot of members post on the sites and also put it on ebay. Hate to see you having to give up such a sweet ride. Good luck with the sale. Hope 09' turns around for all of us!

Ditch is right. You have to get the work out. Thats the way you will be able to sell it. I hate that you have to part with something you truly care about. These are very tough times. We are all seeing the squeeze.....God Luck. You can always get another Bike later...Jeff

I got lots of interest form HD trader when selling mine, also craigs list for you local area. 

Ebay is ok but get ready for of stupid questions from morons with no money.

Not to overstate the obvious but a price would be nice.

Thanks for the info guys I really hate to have to sell it too. But with three little girls and a wife you know where I'm coming from. Hopefully, this economy gets better for everyone soon. As far as a price I have seen a couple on ebay sell last weekend between $25,000 and $26,500. I need to get at least $25,000 just to get out even and then I'm still losing a bunch of money.

K-Dog, besides Ebay, HD Forum, and this site, you should also list on Cycle Trader. Com (which is a national listing and not like Ebay) and Craigslist (nationally if possible). If you can add pictures without too much expense, that may help sell it too. Good luck.

Have you sold your bike yet? I'm looking for a 2009 or '10 CVO Softail Springer. If you haven't sold it, how many miles does it have on it, how much do you want and where do you live?

Sorry to hear of your luck, but as was mentioned here post it everywhere you can.  I hope you can get what you want out of your bike, although you might be a tad bit high depending on the options you have.  I've seen a few at some dealers listed for less in the last couple months.  Good luck..

Thanks very much for pointing that out. I just realized how I could check a member's profile, and I now see that. Well, I found a good one for sale, albeit a 2008, and I'm negotiating to buy it. So I s'pose I'll be a regular here sharing stuff about one of the last good bikes (the other: FXR, which I also have) Harley's ever going to make. Their 2011 line-up...in a word, sucks.
