Um, wow!
What size are the mufflers? They look sweet...
Ok, folks getting new bikes.... Sure making it hard to "Just Say No"
Question: From your pictures and the pics on the HD site, looks like the handlebars are different than the regular RG. They look like they are a little higher and back a little.... can you confirm?

Opee6969: BEAUTIFUL BIKE! Enjoy! :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:
LRebel: The bars are new according to the HD web site and reviews in Motorcycle USA.
Very nice Opee! Making it hard for me.........
So Jon...how long will it stay stock? ;D

They are different than the ones on my 2007 FLTR and the FLTR Custom. Yes, they are higher and turned in. I like the higher, don't care too much for the turned in more as it was cramping me. They had to be adjusted/moved forward for me and I am still getting a bit of numbness in my hands. I don't know if that is because of the diameter on the heated grips or the angle of my wrist (cocked inward). I believe it's the latter and will be looking for a different set of handlebars.
Simon
Desert,
The reason your hands are going numb is because you're sporting major-wood whenever you throw a leg over the beast. Its called majorwoodcvoscolitis. Sadly, there is no cure ::) :o
Does anyone know what the 2 black plastic pieces are that came with the bike? They're in the saddlebag and are both identical. They appear to be some type of wind deflectors, but I can't find anything explaining them in the manual.Could they be these??..

Thanks Desert and Firedood. I'll take a look when I get home and see if I can figure out how to install them. At least I'll be looking in the right area. lol

Great bike.
I picked mine up yesterday, pictures later. I have a question about two parts in the pack. They are part number 57780 -11 left and right. The only thing I can find out is that they are lower wind deflectors. Seems crazy but I can't figure out where they install on the motorcycle.
I put 300 miles on it so far. Runs and looks great but found a problem with the radio. The CB switch seem to stick sometime. It will not disengage so I can't receive. Unfortunately it come and goes so it may be hard to diagnose.

How'd she do? What was the ambient temp outside? Humidity? And how was the engine heat? Thanks for sharing!Rob,
Sweet, you took her back home to see the folks. Were you able to keep the speed within reason or were you like me an let her open up?
Simon
I ran her about 75mph without any problem. I'm not much a speed demon anymore, but 75-80 was smooth as silk.
That sounds like 4th gear most of the way :)
LOL! So Desert, what pipes are you gonna put on her. I'm thinking about just putting some Rinehart 4" slip-ons and seeing how she runs. I just want some sound without getting all crazy with fuel management, cams, etc. Your thoughts? (or anyone else's for that matter)
The sound would be a plus with slip-ons but I'm not sure I need that right now. On tours, I think I will prefer the quieter stock exhaust. If I want loud in the future I might just consider a 2nd bike. Some of the folks on CVOHarley with multiple SE models are inspiring me to be financially irresponsible. :huepfenjump3:I've been running stock everything on my 09' SEUC, but I'm having more instance of people switching lanes into me. The trip I just took up to Mackinac, I had 5 cars come over into me and a semi that took me off the road into the berm. I'm wanting to make a little noise. I just ordered Rinehart 4" slip ons from Jenni @ Tri-County HD and got 20% off. THANK YOU CVOHARLEY FORUM!!!
