Have read a lot of posts concerning the dislike for the entire line of paint on the 2018's. Was very curious what everyones opinions are on the cvo limited colors specifically. (Burgandy Cherry, Black Earth Fade (blacked out), and the Anniversary edition) Thanks.

They were designed by a couple BLIND bean counters in a very Dark room.

Lol. I have to agree! Muddy paint scheme. Put a little road dirt on the new "fade" and they will look like any other bike. Nothing special at all other than the extra $2000.

If you look at this thread, there are some more pics of the bikes for which you have questions. Specifically the red fade on the 34th page, reply #500. There are other pics spread out over that same thread which is here:

It's not like having them in front of you inside and outside in the sun but the pics are better than what the MoCo website. The red fade is growing on me but I need to see it in the sun. Still, is it a CVO color and worth dang near $43K? Only the shadow knows......

I think the US Navy had extra paint and donated it to the MoCo.

All I can say is, to me a CVO is ALL about the paint and chrome, which IMO the 18's are lacking big time!
Case in point, just look at the second post here and the big smiles on the riders (14CVOultra & passenger).
Why do they have such big smiles, you may ask? Because they're riding a very HOT looking bike, that's why! :2vrolijk_21:
The 18's sure won't stand out in a crowd like the rest of ours do, that's for sure.

I couldn't agree more!

Took one look at the 18's and rushed to but a 17.

With the discounts being offered on the 17's and combined with the price increase on the 18's, I'm wondering what kind of savings is to be had buying a 17 rather than a 18 CVO Limited?

More for less.

I have to agree by looking at pictures but after seeing the limited in person I had to have it so I traded in the 16 limited for the 2018 fade.....
