Not much better here.  What's worse is it was in the 50's two weeks ago, so now this is like torture.

I had to go to DC today to pick up a computer, left home at 0645.  At 0835 I was three miles south of Massaponax, VA. At 0945 I was at the exit for Massaponax, VA, which is about 63 miles south of DC.  At 11:45 through blinding snow, watching cars and trucks just fall off the road, I arrived at my office building. I decided to not stop and visit, just grabbed my computer and turned around and came home.  Got home at 3:30.  Now this is only a 260 mile return trip.  I did actually see a Honda Goldwing leaning into the 40 mile gusting wind on the ice that was thick on I95 in the Springfield Mixing Bowl.  Yes, to me, this was not a bike riding day. But by the time I was home, the sun was shining the wind had died, and it was a good day to ride, if you don't mind all the salt and sand.  California...... ya just suck, OK?

Just kidding.   [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=nervous.gif] [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Maybe this is the cold before the real warmth arrives.

Hope so!  Rode this weekend and it was nice here and now it's cold
again [smiley=furious.gif].

Gotta go to Charleston Saturday to pick up the Lowrider!
Come on good weather!

For all of you north of the Mason/Dixon Line, GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!!

As someone who will refuse, no make that quite a company for having them relocate to areas that snow, I respect you.

As for my area, winters are very mild and opportunities to ride are often.

Here's Hoping that Winter will END SOON for you!!

ya know , all of you  guys and gals that have to wait for warm weather  to arrive  have one major advantage over  us here in california,,,you get to ride on large open highways and through forests and such.. we have  freeways,, and they are conjested at that ...so i would say that good things come for those who wait   [smiley=laugh.gif]
Today  I actually rode into work on the 605  without a jacket on @ 5am   eh he

I guess that I have the best of both worlds....Weather is usually nice enough to ride around here during most of the winter, and I go to the mountains of N. Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee every chance I get during the summer to get away from the heat and humidity here.  [smiley=laugh.gif] Forecast here for the upcoming weekend....sunny and 75 degrees.  Gotta love it!!  Any of you fine folks from the North Country want to come down here and ride  [smiley=helmet.gif], look me up!

I don't understand it........how you guys tolerate that.  I'd have to move.  Supposed to be 77* degrees in Sacramento today.
