Still on and now I'm scratching my head wondering why they are still on there, I don't ride at night and even if I did they are kinda "happy" and don't do much of anything anyway.

I didn't even heatum.....fishing line works great. I used MEK on the residue, but any solvent based cleaner will work.

Mine are gone! I thought they looked cheap! I don't think anyone sees them while the bike is moving. My wifes oldest son told her the bike looked great but the reflectors were ugly. I had been trying to decide if I was going to remove them but when my wife told me what he said it became a no brainer! I used
Dental Floss
WD-40
then Mothers Chrome polish. Looks much cleaner, less busy.

We live in the country---took mine off and put them on the mailbox. Glows like a firefly when I drive up on it at night.

Mailbox! Great idea, cause people keep backing over mine leaving my driveway.

ALL reflectors on every bike I've ever owned only stayed affixed till I arrived back home with my new ride and plugged in the heat gun.

That includes the fork reflectors, saddlebag latch reflectors AND the one at the bottom of the licence plate holder.

Yup, got 'em all!

Love chrome, hate reflectors!
