How about a vallium about the size of a 1950s Buick hubcap. This way you can bite off the amount you need according to what kind of service writer you encounter or repair bill

What, no points and condensor?  Siphon hose?

...and a feeler gauge and nail file to fine tune the ignition system.  Doc

And cell phone.

Yeah, extended warranty, cell-phone, American Express, Visa . . .

I just INVESTED  $2,200 into a 5 yr (7 yr total) H-D extended warranty. $50 deductible, no deductible for wheels/tires. 200 mile tow/transport option, LODGING and MEALS while the bike is awaiting parts/service in "BFE." We did the math; it comes down to about $1.20 a day. I spend that kind of $$$ on tips for the coffee house.

Extended warranty is not a good investment if you're just "bar hopping"  or commuting. But being retired and a "free agent" where I can ride when and where-ever, it's sound strategy to have things covered out in the boonies.   :divers009:

You mean these bikes break down on the road? I thought these were the best of the best. At least
I paid for the best of the best.

If these bikes break down I think I got screwed!!

There is a tool kit somewhere in a saddlebag??? :huepfenlol2:

Insert sarcasm everywhere in this post!!!

Nine out of ten Harley Davidson motorcycles produced since 1955 are still on the road today. The other one made it home. :D

If I took everything I really needed, I wouldn't have room for any leather or rain gear.  I do take a tool kit, flat tire plugger and compresser though.  I just hope I don't break down in the middle of noplace. I've put on lots of miles on the open road and I guess I'm lucky I haven't had any problems----------------YET
