AK,

Try them out first. If you can hear them at 80 mph, they are OK.

However, I checked the specs today and it says "premium sound with integral amp". I suspect the speakers are what they sell from HD as "Premium Speakers". If this is the case, When I went to buy the aftermarket JL Audio Speakers, I borrowed one of these Premium speakers from the dealer to take down and match the size. The JL Audio weighed about three times as much for the same size speaker. (much bigger magnet)

I bet really good aftermarket speakers will

Back on Jan 13 Garya1 posted about a Blaupunkt head unit but that is all he ever said,  don't know if he is around or dropped out.  I have had a nice talk with a lady at the place that makes the stereos for HD and she said it was not possible to add rear speaker like we want and that there are NO plans to make it happen. :'(  .  She was not happy [smiley=confused5.gif]   not sure what to do now.  Will probably have to look at an enhanced stereo system if she still wants rear speaker,  she said she will let me know after the first ride.
