Made a good deal with a member from Wisconsin. Answered his post about someone bringing him some Yuengling and he would bring some Spotted Cow. So, we made a case for case swap at the 1st MITM. Didn't drink it till I got home and was sorry to find out it could only be had in Wi, some of the best I have tasted.

You are correct a dang good beer. Some of our corporate people are out of Wisconsin and I was able to gain a case their last trip down here

I use to go to their Oktoberfest every year when I lived up north, just realized yesterday was Opening Day for Octoberfest in Munich, time to dust off your Lederhosen and dirndls, roll out the barrel and celebrate Oktoberfest Proist  :beerchug:

Prost!  I am an Oktoberfest fanatic!  I am constantly seeking offerings from different brewers.  This year Yuengling has taken the crown as the best I’ve tried.  Honorable mentions include: Founders, Paulaner, Shiner, Cahaba, Sam Adams, and Good People.  Sierra Nevada used to collaborate with a different Munich brewery each year to create a domestic Oktoberfest beer.  These beers were my favorites but, sadly, they have stopped and did not even brew an Oktoberfest this year.

You would have loved this little German place we frequent, a very good selection of authentic German Beers and pretty good food to boot!

That’s a lot of refreshment!  I’ve had Spaten Oktoberfest (last Season I believe) and it was delicious…never had it on tap and certainly never had 2 liters in one glass!

I see you are in St. Augustine…was hoping it was near central FL as I usually travel down that way once a year.

I wish, lived in Hellinois all my life, finally got sick and tired of the taxes & the politics, and the covid bullchit was enough to push me over the edge and get out, timing was perfect and I happened to fall into a great Gig down here, could not be happier  :orange: :bananarock: :apple: :2vrolijk_21:

I'll play along.  I spent 3 1/2 years in Bavaria in the early 80s.  Much beer was consumed.
