Adventure Rider has an article about a 2022 Low Rider S with a 117 engine. They are sourcing other on-line articles. If true what does that mean for the CVO's? Bigger? If not, that would demean the model even more than other atrocities that seem demean the specialty of owning one....link https://www.advrider.com/category/news/

Will be interesting to see if Harley bumps the CVO engine. If so would it be 122 or 131?
I think likely would be the 122 so they can still sell kits.
Sounds like nice improvements to the low rider S, more suspension travel front and rear, a little bigger engine and gages mounted where you can see them with a full face. My bet is they will have a T version with a FXRT style fairing and some bags on the rear.

Here ya go

Really hope it doesn't get that Wedge Fairing. I am hoping for the FXRT fairing.

So how accurate would this be?

Well, he seems to be pretty thorough in his research but that doesn't mean all his conclusions are right.....interesting!
-
The guy in that video was incorrect about the rear fender, it sits about a inch or so higher on the 2022 regardless of the reflector placement!

From HD website. Looks like a Kawasaki Vacquero.

I really like the idea of it. I'm going to have to see it in person. If it offers good wind protection it might be a nice light weigh touring bike that is much quicker than the road and street glides.

Well yesterday I happened to be in the vicinity of the not so local to me dealership that I bought my Silver 09 CVO RG some 12+ years ago and decided to stop and say hi & browse at the eye candy. There were some new 22's on the floor mostly all touring and a few left over 21's. While making small talk with some of the familiar faces, Jim one of the owners walked over to say hi right when I was asking about the 2022 Low Rider ST. Jim the owner immediately took over the conversation and told me that it will be a limited production of only 300 units domestically and he was marking his up $3000. He also said he can't even place an order for one until 3/1/22. On the flip side he offered to sell me a new 2021 Crimson Low Rider S, $1600. below retail. Knowing that this dealership is know for gouging in the thousands of dollars on top of the list prices of his inventory, I cordially said no thank you to their new 21 and said my goodbyes. Driving home I started to wonder if he was slinging the BS about the limited production on Low Rider St and divert me into buying the 21 to get it off his floor and show the MoCo he sold a bike. So I decided to stop by my local dealership where I never purchased a bike it is a small family run shop with a 4-5 bike showroom, (but I do kinda support them by buying all my I need it now parts) and inquire about the LR ST, This dealership is known for never any kind of markups or fees. The one and only salesman had stepped out to lunch and I had the opportunity to deal directly with the sales manager, I said I was interested in the new ST and he proceed to confirm the limited production of 300 domestic units & the order placement for that bike on March 1st. I asked him about pricing and he quoted list price & no fees or markups other than what's listed on HD's website and that's if he can even get one! I offered him a $1000 deposit to order one for me in Black and by the time we were all done with the refundable deposit paperwork ( Refundable If he can't get a Black bike ) he threw in the first service, $500. in P&A plus 2hr's labor! Congrats Bostonboy!
I love that bike, the only thing I think the MoCo screwed up on is the two different size saddlebags.
Enjoy!

That is a frequent comment I hear about it. The exhaust HD chose to use caused this issue.

Thanks YB,
I concur with your opinion on the bags. I'm sure they are leftover stock from the now discontinued Sport Glide & they are also mounted 1 inch higher. The MOCO's explanation is to allow more ground clearance ? Even at the Sport Glide height if I'm scrapping one of those bags something bad is happening & the outcome wont be pretty :vrolijk27: as for the exhaust there's not a whole lot for the Softail platform that appeals to me & have always been a fan of the long & low D&D FatCat. Biggest problem is going to be waiting out the 2Yr warranty

First new HD that had perked my interest. I will have to see one in person.
