The master painter, Darrel (or Daryl, heck I didn't ask him how he spelled his name).  Can you believe this is the first jester this guy has seen in person yet he has color matched several and done a great job.

See, I told you Darrel was good.  This Roadstar trailer is almost complete.  Does this belong to anyone on this site?  If so it is georgeous.  If not we need to find the owner and hook him up.  I'll see if Andrew can forward our info to him.

I hope to pick up my new Bushtec on April 18th.  Photos are sure to follow.  Guess I have OPD - obsessive paint disorder!

When you do pick some up for me will you?  No chit, those things are not cheap.  But I gotta say I had a '99 Bushtec Turbo +II which I sold in two days after posting it on the Bushtec forum on their website.  Got 75% of what I paid for it.  The trailers hold their value and the product and the people are both class acts.  None better imo.

It's gonna' look great, Jerry!!  Of all the trailers, I like the Bushtecs the best for looks.

Terry, I plan to have it when I come to B'ham in April so Diva can see it.  Just don't ya'll drool all over it.  For real thought, I think trailers make a lot more sense than loading up the bike to the max.  One year HQ and I went on trip to visit friend near Roanoke and I wanted to ride the Blue Ridge so I said "not taking the trailer."  Big mistake.  With the saddle bags and tourpak loaded to the gills and bag on top of the tour pak the bike handled AWFUL.  Gotta say with the Bushtec it is not a problem.  Much perfer hauling it than loading up the bike to the max.

Terry, almost forgot to tell 'ya.  When I was at Bushtec I saw a trailer painted to match your bike.  Awesome!  Sorry I didn't get a photo but I bet I can get one if you'd like.  Hint, hint.

I will have to find a picture of our bushtec behind our 06 cuse and upload it.  Beautiful match job to the autumn haze/black.  We had it done and picked it up at the factory in Jacksboro TN in March 2006.  Had them install the hitch and wiring as well.  Great folks to deal with!

If I can't find the pictures I took while it was at their shop, I will take some news ones this weekend.

We got the Quantum with all the extras.  We use it a lot and absolutely love it.  I can not tell it is back there 99.9% of the time.  In fact, the _only_ time I can feel that it is there is if I am going very slow through a parking lot or something AND am making a slow turn AND the trailer hits a bump or hole.  I then feel just the slightest "wiggle" in the handlebars.  At freeway speed I can not, never have felt the trailer, even when it hits a pot hole.  That air ride suspension is amazing.

We probably have over 3000 miles on it now and will be putting another 3000+ on it on the ride to Laughlin and back in a few weeks.

Can not seem to find the ones I took at the factory so guess it will have to be new ones!  Will get them up this weekend.

Not Color matched to the CVO it still gets the job done for having two bikes and one trailer  :coolblue: Don't forget to get the Automatic air adjust installed if you haven't had that done yet, While it's down for the painting.

That is the best feature http://www.electricalconnection.com/electrical-components/08011.htm

Well, not truly "automatic" but dog-gone cool!  I want one!

I wonder if we added an embedded chip computer, then linked the whole thing to the frame/suspension if it could be made to be fully automatic?  That would be cool.  Add more stuff, program notices that for more than a preset time period the trailer is riding low so it adds air.  Would have to include some hysterisys programming to keep it from cycling during travel...  hmmmmm....
