Strange knocking

So I on my 2016 Flhxse, I'm 200 miles in to a complete cam chest upgrade and I'm hearing a knock in the throttle body. I grabbed my mechanic stethoscope and started listening to both sides of the engine. Everything from the heads, bottom end, and cam chest all sound normal but when I take off the air filter and put the probe the the butterfly plate I hear a knock. So I'm perplexed as to what this could be. Any body else ever experience this? :nixweiss:

I put cams in a 2005 with 103 and a 2010 with a 110.  Both motors after cam install had noise thru throttle body.  Think it’s the lift of the new cams.  Other people on here know more.

Thanks for the input, the sound drives me nuts, and makes me think that a lifter is loose or something. Again thank you
