Trailer: Done
« on: November 18, 2012, 11:11:32 AM »

Well here is the new to us 07. With the freshly painted trailer. Was white which matched our last bike.
Hope this works.

Very nice match, and trailer :2vrolijk_21:

I tend to build one in the spring. At this point in time I have no idea as to total length, width, hight, tung langth, or  type (brand make) of hitch, ball size :nixweiss:. That's with in tolerance that my 07 can Handel.
I had seen an old trailer that would have been perfect sitting behind a wearhouse for around six mouths by the time I went to see about it, "well to late gone". Seeing your's is right up the ally of what I had in mind.
I hope you don't think I'm being cheeky, if I was to ask you for some of the above said measurements would greatly be appreciated.

AWESOME!  Great to see another 07 bike rolling and rolling nicely with a matching trailer behind!
Great looking "vintage" CVO combo!!

Have fun with it and enjoy the miles!

Hey Thanks everybody, I'm pretty happy with it.
Longlast: The trailer is a Cycle-Mate 2000 LTD 22cu. ft of storage. The body of it is 54"long and 38"wide, inside depth- front 19"- rear 20". It's not real heavy @ 155lbs. pulls like a dream ( i do weigh the tongue with a fish scale every time I load it) This trailer is almost 14yrs. old, she has alot of miles on her but has been well taken care of, I fore see many more miles. The capacity of the trailer I think is around 300lbs. that means nothing to my wife. Happy Ridin.

I have one just like it in my garage, but never finished the rebuild. It has 8-80lb bags of mortor mix in it...ha ha. One reason I never finished it was I could never find a good latch for it.....would you show  picture of the latch......nd sweet rig

hogasm: I will get a pic, it has 2 locks on pass side. They do have a handle lock now that they install at the factory that is in the middle of the lid. Or you can buy it and install on a trailer.
