If I had one of those I would either be;

1) Riding it

or

2) Looking at in in the garage

or

3) Sleeping and dreaming about it

No jest !

mobe, your bike looks great!!  The teal's really starting to grow on me thanks to your efforts to post pics. [smiley=beerchug.gif]  I'm sure the yellow will do the same once Tony fills up a 256MB card of photos of his new hot rod.

This site is great.  It seems there is no limit to the number of photos we can post, so keep 'em comin', everyone!!!

Thanks for posting the pics.
I ordered the parts to put the rear crash bar on my bike yesterday.
I was wondering what it would look like. I was afraid it would take away the sport look of the SEEG but it looks great on your bike.
Thanks

Mobe,

Beautiful bike!! looks familiar [smiley=laugh.gif]. Questions about the saddle bag guards. Do you have the part numbers for them and if you ride with a passenger do they get in their way? Trying to decide between the stock ones and the low or slanted profile ones.

Thanks

I don't have the part numbers handy right now. I just ordered the stock saddlebag guards for an electra glide standard, or a road king standard, (they are the same part  numbers). You need the crashbars thamselves as well as the under bag supports that hook into them. I'll try to get some part numbers for you this evening.
As far as interference for the passenger, that depends on how tall the passenger is, the height of the passenger seat and the position of the passenger floorboards. My wife is 5'4" and doesn't have any problem with them, that is with the floorboards in the lowest position and a sundowner road king classic seat. [smiley=stooge_moe.gif]

Mobe,

Thanks for the info. I can get the part numbers I was being a little lazy. You answered my questions as I now see that the bag supports need to be changed out to accept the crash bars. This is my first bike with bags since my job as a paper boy when I was twelve [smiley=6.gif]. Quite a change from a stingray to a screaming eagle. I am also considering adding lower guard rails as I don't want to ding the bags, but it would be a shame to break up the nice paint scheme.

Enjoy the bike!

In response to an off list message here's the address for Lindby.  Click on products and then rear bars.

Sorry, forgot the "other question" from the PM.  The price for the Lindby rear bars shows at $240.00 (on the website).

Here is a couple of pics of the comfort profile guards. My local dealer gets the supports that go with them back from a trike converter. I got the guards and and the supports for $152.00.

Hey steve those bars look like they should give the passanger more room.
I just got my Red bike a couple of days ago was looking to put on a set of Roadking bars.

One thing I did find though was that the Dashanator on top of the tank did not look as if it was polished corectly before being  chromed. The whole top of it on the right side has small buffing scratches down the right side. Looks as if it was  chromed right over . The scratches arent in  the chrome the chrome is down in the scratches. Bad job of buffing I suppose.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen the same problem ?

Thanks

Those look nice Steve. I thought seriously about those but wanted to be able to put the crash guard bags on, and they won't work with the profile guards.
Excellent price, I paid over $300 for my stock set up!

Man you guys sure got some good lookin motorcycles! [smiley=laugh.gif]  And I'm glad that they mixed up the colors, too.  But I'm glad that I got a Blue & Black.........just because they are more valuable (priceless leaders of the pack!) and faster! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

JKZ....Blue and Back is sharp, but what do you do for trick or treating?  The pumpkin color is much faster on October 31st. [smiley=devil.gif]
