is there any new colors for 2024 CVOs ?
-
There is be gonna a plaid CVO Servicar. That there poolboy he did said so.
-
I haven't seen anything on the CVO's but still in shock about the regular line-up...
Apparently as of 2024 Vivid Black is no longer the base/standard color on bikes. For example, if you want an Ultra Limited in "black" it will cost an extra $750. in the US and up here in good ol' Canada it will be $950.
They're nicklin' & dimin' us to death!

The pool boy heard from a person-in-the-know that was standing on line to check out at a Safeway and told a close friend's sister-in-law's former boss of his that, starting next year, the paint fee will be multi-stage and as follows:
CVO Primer Fee
CVO Paint Options Fee(s)
Standard Bikes Optional Paint Fee(s)
Pinstriping Fee(s)
Special Graphics Fee(s) (non-CVO)
Artistic and Historical CVO Pictorial Representations (special graphics) Fee(s)
Emblem Adhesions Fee (non CVO)
Custom Vehicle Operation Special Adornment (emblem) Alignment and Installation Fee
Color Options Handbook Usage Fee
but....
All non-CVO bikes will not get an upcharge for primer and all white or black (not white AND black, just white or black) bikes will not have an upcharge for paint if they have only three body panels or less with painted surfaces.
And that was it. That was all he heard; as best as I heard it.

Don, Wasn't there something about upcharge for CVO tires too that were bedazzled?
-
Grey or Primer is now standard color instead of Vivid Black. Now Vivid Black is optional. That is a crazy move by Harley. Honestly all colors except a pearl or two tone should cost the same.
-
Next it will be a $750.00 up charge for the chrome motor !!!! What BS that is up charge for Black Paint.
-
Did you notice with the regular lineup there is basically no chrome to speak of - anywhere on any Limited regardless of the paint colour?
I imagine you could order it with chrome for a hefty up charge??? I guess paint is cheaper than chrome finish, yet they charge extra for the basic colours!
Wonders never cease.
My trusty ol' Duracell has over 170,000k's on the dial, still runs great, and I'm so glad I love it. :2vrolijk_21:

Wasn't the tires; it was the valve stem caps!

Agree, bat shi* crazy & makes zero sense……Not a chance in hell the vivid black buyer will be paying a $750 up charge today, that buyer will be switching to gray.

Tesla did the same thing a year ago, black went from being free to being one of their most expensive paint options.

Yes, there will be new colors. We just don't have any idea as to what they'll be yet.
-
is this some sort of Off Yellow maybe?
-
I hope that is just lighting and not an actual paint color.
-
I too hope that is bad lighting. It would be nice if that was a pearl white like used on the Skunk.
Hopefully, the CVO SG and RG will have something more creative than the Dark Platinum.

From motorcycle.com
A listing for a color-matched inner fairing and fairing cap for the 2024 Street Glide is available in very least an Alpine Green color, while also confirming that it is equipped with a touch screen display. Other confirmed colors include several other existing options such as Vivid Black, Whiskey Fire, Red Rock, Sharkskin Blue, and Atlas Silver Metallic, plus three never-before-seen colors: Copperhead, Legendary Orange, and Golden White Pearl. We assume these three colors may be for the 2024 CVO range.

Still waiting for the plaid CVO Servicar (with the eagle across the rear body).
