New Horn from Pro Pad
« on: March 04, 2009, 01:42:14 PM »

Picked up my pre-order of their newest slim line Mini Beast II horn.   I really like the new look and as a bonus the new model is slightly louder than the original one.   The guys were great to deal with and I would without hesitation recommend them if you are in the market for a new horn or any of the other products they sell like the foot board extenders.    I also picked up a set of these to try on the 09 Ultra.

Harry,

Can you rotate the cover a bit when installing it?

I like the way this looks and it almost compliments the Tear drop air cleaner I have on the other side.

So, how do you get a Mini-Beast II? It's not on the ProPad website...

My only issue with the orginal was that it was so fugly, but I like the looks of this one... even better than the trumpets!

Gotta have it!

Not sure where you are looking on their site but it is there.  Here is the link to the page.

The horn looks nice, a lot better than the other one they had. You can do floor board extensions yourself at a 1/4 of the price. I've done the same mod to 4 different bikes with OTC parts from Lowes. If interested, I'll tell ya what I did.

Is the tone any deifferent on the mini beast than on the mini beast II?      I have a big set of chrome horms with a flame cover, but it's heavy....

It is slimmer in depth and not as intrusive.   They should be generally available in 30 days from Pro Pad.

I've tried a decent variety and the new Pro Pad might just stay on the bike for more than a couple of months. Check out the attachment.
