Harley GPS by Zumo
« on: March 29, 2009, 07:15:54 PM »

Has anyone installed the new Harley GPS by Zumo on a ultra? The fittment doesn't list EGs or UCs as bikes it will fit. I have looked at the mounting system and cannot see why it won't fit the UCs. The only thing I can see is that it may hide the fuel gage. Any opinon other than why would you spend the extra money?

IMO if you want to get the Zumo... get the Zumo. You are going to pay more, get less (have to spend extra money for car mount, etc) by buying the H-D version. If you get the Zumo 550 or the 660 if you prefer you'll have a better unit for less money.

I agree with that. But the purpose of the question was to determin why the HD zumo  is not listed to fit the EG and UC.

Thanks. That just not the way it is listed in the P&A catalog. But that is what I thought.

Has anyone used the TOM TOM rider? It's only $350. I have a TOM TOM in my car and it works great. It knows all the small roads unlike my Harley one that keeps telling me to turn around.
