7-pin plug to 1/8 plug adapter for FLTRUSE
« on: August 25, 2011, 03:02:30 PM »

I have a set of custom ear plugs with a 1/8 in (3.5mm) plug that I would like to use to listen to the radio on my 2011 FLTRUSE.
Does anyone make a 7-pin connector to 1/8 plug to allow me to plug into the receptacle on the tank?

Thanks

Bill

J&M has one, probably cost more than ebay but any one selling Drag Specialties should be able to get you one in a day or so. They also have a spliter ( I have one ) it plugs into your console and then has a regular HD plug and a 3.5mm female pigtail as well.

J&M now has a lower cable for use with thier headsets that allows you to plug in your ear plug speakers.  The helmet speaker still play, and you retain use of the microphone.

This is good if all you want is to connect your ear buds.

The other looks pretty much like what I got (pic below). Unfortunately, it’s been to long so the detailed seller info is no longer available.  I actually just stumbled on this looking for something else, so if you are patient I’m sure you can find it.  I tried to see if I could find it again but only found one with a cable and it looks a bit bigger, Item number is 350485231805 if you want to check it out.

Thanks!
I can't believe that everyone with a Harley with the 7-pin plug wouldn't want one of these for the days you don't want to use the full headset.
I appreciate everyone's help.

Hey txflyer, not to confuse your decisions but I bought this connection and it works great. You can still use your mic and use your earbuds also.http://www.PlugUp.com/5_pin_6_pin_7_pin_audio_mic_stereo_earbud_adapter_p/ad%20y567.htm
