I want to change out the plugs in my 03 SE-Deuce when I do my 5000mi. service. I think I will try one heat range colder than whats in there now. I know the manual calls for a
HD-6R12. Does anyone have a better plug that they prefer...like the SE equivalent to the 6R12 the SE EX12S. I was also thinking it may help to go one heat range colder on the plug to help handle the high combustion chamber temps a bit better????
Thanks in advance for your help!

I've had good luck with the OEM's. I pull mine every year and they are always perfect. However, I am running a PC with a custom tune, so it's right on.
On the wires, I ended up swapping my wires to the screamin' eagle red's simply because it matched the pinstripping. Looks great.

Try the above post about NGK plugs. I replaced mine and am very pleased with these DCPR8EIX NGK's
You can order them online ay www.ngk.com. Type the plug number in their search engine and add to your cart.
