just loaded up the tour de force set onto the ipod for the ride to MV
:2vrolijk_21:

Anything southern rock gets us in the mood.  Hard rock to mellow to old classic rock to the more heavy country is welcome as well.
It's different than when I'm at home, when I want more involved and technical music including classical.  But on the bike, classical just doesn't work!   :P

Color me weird but sometimes I crank up some of Chopin's Nocturnes when I'm riding. It is an interesting combination of senses, I find it allows me to find my peace and the mind it's place easier than a rebel yell does.

I, too, enjoy classical music when riding, however with a twist (I am typing this sentence in a British accent).
The twist (my favorite passage in Vivaldi's Four Seasons):

This version shall also reside on my iPod and shall be performed during the ride known as the tail of the dragon.

I have too many songs for my ride list for YouTube...but here's a list to get you started...
You can tell...that I lean more to the heavier style...I have a abundance of music, with a great mix.  I tell my wife, that I want to start a new generation of stereo types of riding music...nothing wrong the classics...just need more of a variety within the gatherings.

Run To the Hills - Iron Maiden
Let's Move It - Great White
Radar Love - White Lion's version
Heading Out To the Highway - Judas Priest
Wild Child -WASP
Slide It In - Whitesnake
Poundcake -Van Halen
There's Only One Way to Rock- Sammy Hagar
Speed On -WOLF
Metal Church - Metal Church
Black - Sinner
Over the Mountain - Ozzy
Take Me to the Top - Motley Crue
On the Loose -Saga
Death Knell - Panzer
Stranger Than Paradise - Sleeze Beez
Rock Hard, Ride Free - Judas Priest
Rainbow In the Dark- DIO

Steppenwolf

They were the headliners at my very first official concert. I'd have to get my scrapbook out to verify what year the stub says.  :drink:
