Title: WO579 Bagger Bar
Post by: Mr D on November 19, 2020, 12:13:09 AM
Looking for feedback vs. the stock bar & photos from any riders that have installed the 579 on a Rushmore batwing

Hello Mr. D,

I did some googling, and the pictures are hard to find. I personally haven't used these bars, but they seem to be 9". The Wildones webpage is down as I type this...

I too am planning a bar swap. I'm thinking 12" LAChoppers Twin Peaks. Factory 47 did a video of an install of their 14" and used the stock wiring and hydraulics. it was an hour-long, but it showed the slack under the radio. I don't know if you're planning the job yourself.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful
H

Mr D, I did have these bars on my 2018 Tri-Glide.  I had the WO575s on my previous two wheeled CVO Ultra/Limited and really liked them.  But as you said the 575s don't fit the newer Rushmore fairing and hence the 579s came out for them.  I like the look of the WO Chubby bars and both the 575 and the 579 offered significant improvement for me over the stock bars.  Sorry but I don't have any photos of the 579s but I did like them on my 2018 because like the 575s they were about 2" further back from stock which fit me well.  Good luck in whatever you choose.

Thanks for your feedback
I bit the bullet on the 579 bar for my Tri Glide, looking forward to easier steer control & less fatigue on the shoulders
