Tiger, that's the same light I had on for quite awhile.  Looks great.  A lot brighter than the standard 1157 bulb.  All around nice piece.  Except not a soul can see it lit when the sun is behind you.

Direct sunlight just washes the damn thing out.  Literally as bad as not having a brake light on the bike when the sun is bright at your rear.  That's probably why Kuryakyn tells us "not DOT approved."

Maybe they've been improved or redesigned somehow.  But check it out for sure.  Getting your ass knocked off some afternoon would be a lousy way to find out.

I hear ya TwoLane,
I had a Russ Wernimont ALL-IN-ONE LED plate/light/signal holder on my Road King Classic
for about 3 years and boy did I get good at Hand and Arm Signals on the bright sunny days.
But man it really cleaned up the back of the bike and lost 15lbs by removing all the dead weight.

Ok, good deal Tiger.  Glad you already know what's going on back there.  Just didn't want someone with a bad case of dim-rear and not know it.  It does look good on the bike  :2vrolijk_21: .
