Chopped Tour-Pak & LED's
« on: June 14, 2013, 06:37:35 PM »

Just ordered a chopped tour-pak, AirWing lid rack with LED light, and Tour-Pak wrap-around LED light kit.  Does anyone know if I need to order any additional harnesses etc. to install this on a CVO Road Glide Custom (FLTRXSE)?  Since I don't already have a tour-pak, I'm wondering if I need a Y-harness (70933-10) or anything else.  Don't want to start assembling and have to order and wait for something else.  Thanks for any help.

I have saddlebag lid spoilers and tour pak lid spoiler,
get part # 70270-04 (page 623 in 2013 accessories catalog)
plug it into the existing factory accessory plug under your seat, this gives you two accessory ports to use for lid spoilers or whatever. If you have more accessories and need more ports buy two of these and plug the second one into one side of  the first one. You now will have 3 ports and so on. They will be switched as well.(hot when you turn on ignition)

I might not have been clear in my original post.  I'm adding a tour-pak (LED light kit and AirWing rack with light) to a Road Glide Custom.  This model does not have any wiring for the tour-pak lighting, and I've found when adding Harley parts there always seems that there are extra parts needed when making changes to the bikes.  Was hoping someone that had added a tour-pak could advise how they did the wiring and what parts they used.

I purchased a "Ultra" wiring harness to connect my speaker pods, side marker led lights, airwing rack led r/b lights.

I'm sure there might be another way, but this was the easiest way for me.
