Has anyone installed the Lowrance iWay 500c on their SE? If so did you mount to handlebars? What handlebar mount did you use? Pictures would help.

I mounted my I-Way 500C on my 06' SEUC and it works great!  I used the right handlebar as a mounting place with the short RAM arm included. Virtually no vibration which is what I was afaid of but it is rock solid. I connected power to the cigarette plug and sound to the small jack in the radio, listening to voice commands only when necessary. Sorry I don't have pics but will work on getting some soon. I used it to the MV gathering and again on the return trip home with no problems whatsoever.

Sorry it has taken so long for me to get pictures but I finally got this accomplished. Here is one that shows the way I have used it but it could be mounted a bit higher or even on the left side but that seemed to block gauges that I wanted free to view.
Hope this helps, let me know if you would like any different angle shots as I can get it done quickly now.

3K miles and no problems, RAM MOUNTS http://www.ram-mount.com has several lengths of arms and connectors for these. I used the quick release so I can remove it when I want. 20 seconds and it is in the tourpak.
Mounting it here eleminates any blocking issues of gauges or controls. Easy to see also. If you need more info or have a more direct question, i will be glad to help in any way, Enjoy 8)
