So it was time to enjoy my excellent room one more night!    :2vrolijk_21:

If you are ever in the area I would recommend this place without hesitation.

My ride back to the east coast was a fun one.  Had to return to some commitments.

Day One – Carmel By-The-Sea, CA.

Ran into some road construction along the way which created a number of delays, THEN a mechanical issue with the bike near the Grand Canyon.  Left with no choice I pulled into Grand Canyon H-D.  Of course I was thinking worst case scenario and already planning for issues.  Explaining the conditions to the service manager he walked back to the service tech to discuss the options.  All of their techs were working on bikes however they stopped and addressed mine swiftly.

Thumbs up to the folks at Grand Canyon H-D!

The temperatures were pleasant the entire day since I left early and got through the eastern part of CA in the AM.  Had a jacket on the entire day.  Nice.

At the recommendation of Bryan I stayed in Gallup, MN where the room rates were inexpensive and the hotel had been remodeled.  Bonus!

Day Two -  Gallup, NM.

Most of the day I had a jacket on and was attempting to beat the rain that was on my azz and in front of me.  There were some serve storms around me however for the most part I was in good shape.  Had some rain off and on.

Ended up in Russellville, AK

Day Three – Russellville, AK

Thunderstorms all around me for the first three hours until around Memphis, TN.  Missed ya JR but I know you are having an enjoyable visit with the family in AZ!

It was a short ride to Nashville, TN as I had business to conduct.

In all, another excellent adventure that I will have memories of for a lifetime.  Only problem is I am ready for another one!  Butt where?

Well in a few short weeks you will find out where the NEXT Transcontinental journey will take me.  I have been dreaming about this one for a while.

Life is Good.

Glad you made it back safe and sound.  It was a pleasure riding with you again Jock.  I hope I was able to show you some roads that you hadn't rode on any of your previous visits to Nor Cal. and hope you enjoyed them all.

P/S.....the store in Capitola said they can ship that swim suit to you if you'd like. :huepfenlol2:
