I hear what you are saying but I used to run it sometimes in my last bike and never had any problems.  I was mixing a half a tank of 93 pump gas and the other half 100 LL.

Not sure how good it really works but the blendzall gold label booster sure smells good. It has a small amount of castor for 4 stroke. Kinda pricey but its a hit when you ride in a group

Our big-cube Arctic Cat snow machines(900cc, 990cc, and 1000cc) actually like the quick-burn lower octane fuel, even at the optimized 135 psi ccp, for aggressive power delivery spooling off at 8200 rpms.
I know entirely different, but nonetheless an example.

Many booster do nothing! Tolulene can be had from the hardware store.
Lucas brand works but that said better to not set the motor on the ragged edge so when they start to build a little carbon they ping like hell in the hot summer weather. Not a bad idea to keep a bottle for a emergency when you can't get premium. It happens on trips.

Been to Sturgis a couple times and 93 Octane is not plentiful but 91 was no problem and the bike ran fine. I can not imagine in 2013 any road without a gas station at least every 200 miles that sells prem gas. It amazes me that people still think that additive and av-gas will make more "power". Hi-Octane gas will not make power, a different tune that can use that higer octane may but not the gas alone.

How many of you folks remember the good 'ol Sunoco 260?
Used to use that in my '64 Malibu SS. (350 ci/Crane cam/2-4 bbls).
It loved it.

You may or may not get the fuel you'd most desire.  Octane boosters are snake oil though.  Check the label for the actual increase the OTC stuff really makes.
exactly what kind of snakes do they get octane boosters from? are there any around here?on a 110 i am sure its a RATTLEsnake! :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:
