2020 CVO Limited - Boom Box
« on: September 08, 2020, 11:07:57 AM »

Hello,

I am chase a problem on my 2020 CVO FLHTKSE several attempts from the dealership to fix my radio.  Any one else having issues and how has the dealership supported getting things resolved?

Details:
Radio did not work when took delivery - day of the radio did not turn on, back to the dealership.
Second radio - broken in shipment.
Third radio is not able to flash updates and intercom/phone not working.
Now waiting for a 4th attempt.
Dealership is about an hour a way, so this round trip and scheduling is a PIA.

So question, anyone else having issues like this?
Dealership/management is saying this is a MCO issue and it is only a radio, the service guys are being helpful as they can but still not resolved.  But my question here is who is the customer advocate to getting things like the resolved?  Any are there any systemic quality issues with the tech.  Disappointed with a flag ship product.

TIA,
Ron

You are your own customer advocate. You shouldn't have taken the bike without it working. Since they cannot fix it after several attempts, they should take the bike back for full retail.

What software version are you using? This may be your issue, see post on page 2 on software version MY21:20:28:00
The radio will not work if this version isn’t installed first.
