I have a new 2015 CVO Street Glide coming in at the end of the month so I was looking for floorboards as well.  Other than the housings and the inserts, do you need other parts?  I assume there's a mount as well?  I was hoping to move my pegs up to the highway bars if the mounts are the same and will fit the pegs.

There are adjustable mounts installed on CVO's models.  I ordered them along with the passenger footboards.  The tool kit you'll get with your new bike will enable you to adjust footboard to riders comfort.  I to want to move those pegs up front.  Take a look at CVO Limited and Road Glide to see parts.

Hard Candy Mercury.  Fell in love when I saw the picture on the website.  I hope it is as awesome in person as their marketing team makes it look.  I have not seen one in person yet, only the blue/orange which would be my second choice.

Can't wait to see the pictures.  The ship date of my bike changed to 11/5 so I'll have to wait a few more weeks.

I like the sleekness and flow of the footboard design with the paint.  (http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/10/20/13d89524fc304cf9c8904679df920382.jpg)(http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/10/20/abb30fd25037a7edcade1e4cd88973e8.jpg)

Very nice.  Can't tell from the pictures, but are those the standard mounts or the adjustable floorboard mounts?

Mounts are adjustable, same as   other CVO touring models.

How are they adjustable? just by the 2 different holes? or did you get the adj brackets that come on the CVO Limited?  also, what was the total cost?  I see your part numbers above, but was wondering if there were other parts needed.  Thanks

They are the same brackets that come on the CVO Limited.  Three point adjustable, one at bolt on location, two vertical and three horizontal plain.  I was torn between nonadjustable and adjustable mounts.  I went with nonadjustable but called dealership and changed the order.  Cost difference is $254 more for adjustable kit and comes all hardware.  Sorry I don't have part numbers and final cost.  Had to look on credit card statement to see the charge.

I went through this on my 12. Patiently waited and scored a set of matching adjustable floorboards off ebay for $350. It was winter so I didn't mind the wait because mama wasn't whining.

I did mine for much less. I've got a little under $300 as mentioned above.
I ordered mine when I bought the bike. Got mine installed a couple of weeks now. Work great.

OUCH? LOLOLOLOLOLOL I seem to recall the adjustable floorboards like mine which came stock on the cvo ultra that year were in the 550 range. I'd say 350 to my door was a pretty Damn good deal ;)

I am interested in this as well.  do the swept wing fit?
Also, does anyone of a pic of what the CVO pans look like when they are flipped up?

He's moving the pegs upfront to the highway peg mounts.  They didn't install them yet.  Sorry

Was going to put my floorboards on tonight and there was no hardware to mount the boards to the mounts.  Appears to be missing some long pins and a spring/ball piece to hold them when they are up.  Anybody have a part number for those pieces?

you are correct that not all the needed parts come with the boards.  The spring is 51501-07 and the ball is 8861.  The long pin that you refer to comes with the brackets that you also need to purchase.  That part is 53070-00A.  There might be other options for that bracket.  Good luck.

I bought 53070-00A and they did not come with the pins.  The 2015 catalog says it reuses stock hardware but kutterharleyonline.com says it comes with the pins.  I guess I have to call my dealer Monday.

These part numbers is exactly what you need.  Come with everything to mount

I bought the standard non adjustable mounts 53070-00A and they did not come with the pins either, even thought they are shown in the picture on the web page

http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/passenger-footboard-brackets

also the spring & ball did not work at all, the pocket that the spring sits in is way too deep and the ball didn't even contact the detents on the board WTF
had to make some 1/4 in spacers to put under the springs to bring the balls in contact and now they work, wondering if there is a new longer spring for this mount, didn't care to waste more time to find out just went for the "Get'er Done" mentality

Same thing happened to me. They gave you the wrong springs. I went back to the dealer and exchanged them for the longer ones. They worked perfectly. Also the pins have to be ordered separately, they do not come with the brackets.

I'll get the right springs next time I'm there, not going to make a special trip just to get them, if they just put all the hardware with the damn brackets people wouldn't have these issues.....what are we talking 4-5 fricken dollars worth of hardware on $500 boards WTF  >:(

For the guys that added passenger floorboards, did you have any issues with the insert sitting it the pan. I installed my last night, and the insert don't seem to be very secure in the pan. it looks like the only thing holding them in place is the little piece of rubber that goes around the pins. am I missing something?

My install was similar to the others listed in this string. I used the chrome mounts from my Road King that I kept before trading it in. Aside from the pans and inserts, I had to buy all the other assembly parts a La Carte. I bought standard touring model pins, springs and bearings, they worked perfectly. As for the inserts staying in place, I used a soapy water solution as a lube to press them in place and haven't had any issues.

In the same boat, anyone know what the longer spring part number is? I checked the microfiche on a 2015 CVO Road Glide and its calling for part number 51507-07, which is the spring I have it doesn't work. That said, I didn't buy the adjustable mounts which are standard on a CVO RG.

I just walked out of HD. If you buy the standard mounts for passenger floorboards you will need to use spring part # 33085-74 not 51507-07.  The adjustable mounts like the one found on the 2015 CVO RG or Ultra use the smaller spring part #51507-07. FYI
