I agree and that's why I left it to the professionals.

Joe Z of Extreme Dimension painted and frenched the tail lights.

Ordered my hardcandy custom mercury quartz detachable tour pak.  Got the luggage rack, lighted smoked brake light.  If all else fails read the instructions.. Right, what a joke.  The template did not line up, the wiring to pull thru the protective cover was almost impossible. Thought was going to break the wires.  No holes in the bottom for the grommet.  The grommet was a piece of chit made in china.  I would really like to meet the pocket protector punk engineer who designed this.  Obviously they have never worked, rode or put anything together that wasn't on an assembly line.  If the wife didn't need the kitchen sink i would not spend the money.. Smaller saddle bags, no storage in the front lowers. Not much choice, and they are very proud of them.  If i wasn't getting older and senile I would just buy a sissy bar, rack and a bag of bungees!

Where is the best place to buy the tour packs, chopped or not?  Do they sell them prepainted?  I am thinking this may be in my future.

I bought my from Rebecca at Tri County Harley.

20% off

You can buy them painted or non-painted.

I bought the non-painted because I wanted custom tail lights installed.
