Man, that is a good looking unit and small enough to keep the clean look of the front end.  Of course I'll have to wait till Gary gets that $5 grand to me beore I could afford someting like that. :nixweiss:

To tell you the truth, I really haven't had the chance to check them out at night on dark roads.  Most of my riding has been in well light areas.  I live in a very rural area.  I'll know better once the weather cooperates and I get some night riding time.

Am I imagining things or do the mirrors look larger than stock? They also look like they sit a little higher.

The Performance Machine mirrors have a slightly different shape and may be a tad larger.  The shape may make them appear to sit a little higher but if so, it's only marginally different from stock.  They fit the bike perfectly.  The biggest differences:  They are machined aluminum and much thinner than the HD plastic casings; they are not concave (or is it convex?) mirrors so objects appear natural size/distance; they look awesome on the bike!  :2vrolijk_21:  If you're interested, shop for price.  All the catalogs list them for $249, PM website sells them for $149, and ebay seller sells them for $110. . . . .  I am very please with them and they are still somewhat uncommon so everyone doesn't already have them.   :bananarock:

IMHO, the Riders Claw is well worth the cost.  The company is great to deal with and offers CVO members a discount.  The product is very high quality and well made.  Easy to install and each face plate is machined to fit a specific iPhone or iPod etc.  I'm not a big fan of having the empty mount sitting on the handlebars.  However, the high quality chrome mount really looks fine even when empty.  I'm also finding that unless it's raining, my iPhone is always in the mount when riding.  Music, phone calls and the GPS app all play thru the J&M 7.25 speakers nicely thank you!.  :huepfenjump3:
