Just wondering how the original SESG owners feel a year on?

Still loving mine with 5k and more mods soon to come.

Cheers

For those who haven't made the plunge yet.......

They may jump on this forum and be put off by all the negative appearing posts.  We all know that polls aren't fact and often aren't even an accurate scale of public opinion however, to help get a more accurate picture, I'm putting this poll up.

Thanks JCZ!!

In my assessment, the 2010's are going to turn out to be a very limited edition.

Absoulutely! Except for the poor seat construction, I have no complaints. The bike handles better than any tourer/cruiser I have owned. Performs to my liking without any mods other then slip-ons. With the King TP, spots, and a few other items that I've added, coulda just as easily bought the Ultra, but I've got the best of both world's. Great long distance tourer and when I feel like it, a sleek roadster.

Never thought I'd love a ride more than my Springer. I'm addicted to the SG.  It rides great, sounds great and is big and comfortable for long hauls.  It has opened up a whole new world of riding. I've ridden my Springer on long trips. No comparison. I thougt I'd sacrifice fun for comfort. Didn't happen.  It's a great ride.

Every time I look at my bike I get more excited. . . .   Maybe it's the on-set of winter that has me longing for more ride time!   :drink:

I traded a 2005 SEEG for my SESG. Didn't know if I was making the right decision at the time. My 05 ran great. It has taken a little time to get the new one tuned in to my liking but in the end this bike runs great and has an awesome ride compaired to the 05. Now have 19,500 miles on her and no problems.

I had the 04 SEEG and I felt the same way in the begining......loved that bike and while it had well over 60,000 miles on it, it ran great.  I wasn't sure if I were making a mistake.....especially after reading about the issues about the 110".  I haven't looked back since.  :2vrolijk_21:  I love this bike and recently road a Electra Glide and it was like riding a tractor after riding the 10 SESG. :2vrolijk_21:

Am still pinching myself that I actually have one - this time last year I was salivating at the 2010 model but spewing I could not get one.

Went to a ride last night at the Melbourne night market - having my SG parked amongst a sea of stockers makes it all worthwhile.

Love it  8)
