Passenger foot boards ?
« on: June 25, 2010, 09:19:01 AM »

Has anyone replaced their passenger pegs with footboards?  Which ones did you get?  Got any pics?

Skim thru there.  Many have done it.

Sorry no pictures at the moment, but they're the same footboards/brackets from the CVO Ultras.  You can also use the non-adjustable footboard mounts.

Guys,
Just checked with my local HD dealer.  The rumble collection passenger floor board inserts don't show up on the website as they are in the 2010 CVO catalog for the Ultra classic electra glide.  Insert numbers 51502-09, and 51510-09 are $110/each.

Are you guys sure they fit in the standard swept pans part numbers 50357-04 or 50716-04?

Dealer gave me a part number of 50700-04 and 50701-04 for the pans.

I have 50716-04 frm my 09 SG and hope they work as I just ordered the inserts.

anyway, just more info.

But now the 2011 SERG has passenger floorboards...So can't we just order a set of those complete? Are they the same as the SG Rumble collection or do we still have to order them by the piece? $670 seems pretty steep! :nixweiss:

I had the dealer install the standard chrome Street Glide Streamliner floorboards kit prior to delivery and changed to the Rumble inserts when they arrived. Easier than ordering the individual parts and may have even been less expensive as I remember? nixweiss:

That's my plan also.  I had the streamliner kit on my 09 SG but removed them before trading it in.  I think they are around $360 for the complete kit.  I just ordered the Rumble inserts for $220.  Either way you go, its still expensive.  Also moving the rear pegs to the crash bar using small highway peg attachments from custom chrome.  much cheaper than the HD attachements.

Pretty sure I paid $89.00 each at Chicago Harley always 20% off online still cheaper than the individual parts.  ;D
