Debadge tank or replace emblems with....
« on: April 08, 2019, 05:55:11 PM »

As the title says.  I recently debadged my 2015 FLTRUSE.  I wondering what everyone thinks...stay debadged, do some screaming eagle badges, or go with some replica 2018 cvo badges paint matched?

I did the ones you have in your first post ( off of the sesg) on my '11 SERGU and my '15 SERGU (blue). Much better than those skinny prism ones IMHO.

Sent from my boring Droid phone.

Not my style, didn't like them, seemed cheap looking IMHO.... hence why the original ones aren't part of my list above.

Not only cheap looking but cheaply made.  I've posted this on another thread a few years ago but while cleaning, the rag caught one corner of the primary side badge and the aluminum cover (over the plastic part sticking to the tank) lifted up.  So I removed both sides and left it clean.  I thought of warranty coverage to replace but didn't want to put something back that would do the same thing...plus I like the clean look.

Maybe this helps. The bottom one is the "Originals" on 2015s and I can't believe anyone likes those.

I say go for the '19 ones!  Those are SWEET and look killer on the new bikes.  But I am a minimalist that prefers fine details.

I switched my '14 Road King CVO badges for the prior years Willie G. circles and it looks awesome.

I bought the eagle ones like in first pic for my 2015 that came with the cheep ones that came on every non CVO that year but after taking originals off I like the no badge look and may not ever put the eagles on. But I like the painted on badges the best.
