After 70,000 miles to the four corners of this country on the most reliable Harley that I've ever owned, I finally pulled the trigger on getting the paint correction done as well as ceramic coating. Was it worth it? YES! This bike looks better than it ever has since I've owned it and it looks better than any new Harley that I've ever laid eyes on. $500 on the paint correction and ceramic coating was money well spent.

JCZ:
It’s,looking good thats for sure!!
Consider putting XPEL film on it. That, way it will be protected from all of the gravel and rocks that seem to find our motorcycles.
RIDE,SAFE!!
Best Regards
Jerry

I did the complete front end (bumpers, full hood and full fenders, mirrors, door cups, etc.) on both my cars along with the ceramic coat. However, on my bike, after my last accident (shattered jaw) I don't follow close enough to get stone chips. Just not an issue for me any more.

Yes, let me know if you're going to be in the Tucson area?
There's a small group of us from this forum that are doing a ride in June.....Ariz. Utah and Colorado over a couple of weeks.

Looks great. What do they do for "paint correction?" Buffing and polishing, or?

Not the same as a four stage paint correction done on cars, trucks, etc. On the bike the process uses a cutting compound with a buffer and they don't go through the clear coat.

Makes sense. Those results are impressive.

Thanks a bunch! While I had the Xpel PPF put on both cars and then the paint correction and ceramic coating......I had that done when both cars were new, with less than 100 miles on both of them. So with my Harley at 70,000 my expectations were pretty low and this shop far exceeded my expectations.

I just noticed this post now and I have to say JC your ride looks fantastic!
I've been humming and hawing about doing the same thing on my ol' 2008, and you just made up my mind.
Thanks for sharing JC.
Stay safe and keep looking sharp! :2vrolijk_21:

Get some "before" and "after" photos.....in the sun.
By the way....don't you spend your winters somewhere down here in Arizona? I'm in the Tucson area and the winters are riding season down here.

Hey JC,
We used to spend time in Arizona and loved it.
Unfortunately with my current health situation, ever since covid hit us all my doctor is still insisting that it is best for me to stay close to home and avoid crowds... Yes, we are going crazy! I think this will be the last winter we spend at home (even though it has been quite mild), and we look forward to returning to Arizona and hopefully we can do some riding together then.
Continue to enjoy the great riding weather and stay safe,
Mike
