Here is mine

Got a thunderheader pipe coming. Shimmed the motor with some washers which reduced the vibration pretty dramatically.
Love it!

Everything is quick detach. I converted the bags to quick deatch. I pulled the chin spoiler, didnt like. Also had crash bars on it. If anyone wants them throw an offer.

Here is the T-header with a tommy gun copy on the heat shield. Traced, cut out and spray painted on. It comes off easy with carb cleaner but has lasted through a washing, 200 miles, a dyno tune and a rain ride so far.  Mustang seat added also. Way more comfortable then stock.

Mr. Fatty,

That heat shield detail on the pipe is incredible, you are highly motivated!

Mustang seat looks like a two piece, is this correct? If so, have you checked it out as a single up version without the back pad? I was interested in a single up look showing a little more of the EBF spike on the tail/fender.

Thanks for attaching the pic!

I loved the look but hated the heat. I even wrapped header pipe under the stock shield holes but the heat still comes through (improves a little).  I can't believe the paint does'nt rub off. The seat is a 1 piece. The 2 piece jacks the price about 100 bucks. Weird, I have a 2 piece on my springer and it looks more like a 1 piece.

Nice blue Bob! I have been told that I should add a windshield but I just can't bear to change the bike that much. Fortunately for me If I need to ride with one or ride two up with the daughter I just switch bikes and go with the Road King.

I do like to travel with a lady who drives a Street Glide Trike and she lets me use her trunk if I need to stow a jacket or other bulky items. I just bought the wife a Street Glide so I can use her bags also. Ride fast and light guys.

Mr Fatty,

It appears from your background landscape you're located in Florida, spent about half my life in that state!

I had to send your "before" picture above to a friend of mine in Port Orange since you and I have the same bike and mine is still covered with our currently 27 degree weather.

He was bugging me about the recent great riding weather and his new HD Night Rod special as a diversification from his/our history with sport bikes. I had to show him my recent diversification and graphic representation of my pride of ownership using your picture. Hope you don't mind. I guess living that close to Daytona bike week finally made an impact on his riding preference!  :huepfenlol2:

BTW your pics were great for mods I've planned for this spring/.  :2vrolijk_21: Probably won't get into the exhaust until the second round but plan on a seat, backrest, and windshield soon, haven't decided on the saddlebags yet are yours quickly detachable too?

Thanks again for posting your pics.

Some paint and a tank lift since the last pics. In Fl and yes the bags are quick detatch but self made.

The paint detailing is great, I believe harris48cars had something similar done on his yellow beast. A very nice addition to the tank and side covers.  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: Was that done by a dealer?

Pardon my lack of knowledge, but what does the tank lift provide?

The paint was from a private shop, $350.  The tank lift mainly makes it easy to clean the top of the rocker covers, looks cool, takes some heat off and frees up some potential rubbing of the wires under the tank. I saw it on this site and had some time to kill.  ;D
